Welcome to the web site for the book “High Road to Tibet”.

In 2004, I embarked on a journey of discovery and adventure across Asia that I’d been dreaming about for years. I travelled across China, reached Tibet by bus, climbed amongst the mighty Himalayas, and watched the dead being cremated on the banks of the Ganges in India. I drank snake blood in China, observed mysterious ceremonies in Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, and rode on the roof-tops of buses in Nepal. Along the way I encountered some colourful characters including a restaurant manager in India who wanted me to join him in starting World Wrestling India! It was an incredible journey and I decided to write about my experiences and turn it into a book.
